Nicosia Beer Fest 2014 will open its gates for the public on September the 10th which is co-organized by the Nicosia municipality, the tourism development Company of Nicosia and the Nicosia Chamber.
The Mayor of Nicosia Mr Konstantinos Georgadjis, speaking today at a press conference, said that Nicosia Beer Fest, part program enrichment events in the capital and aims to become an annual event and a reference point for Nicosia. Through such events, added Mr. Georgadjis all participants aimed to the revitalization of the Center of the capital, as well as in attracting locals and foreigners.
From her side Tourism Director of CTO Ms. Annita Demetriades welcomed the initiative of ETAP and Nicosia municipality to organize this festival, saying that the organisation of such events is particularly important for tourism, because it creates an incentive for visits in Nicosia which offers a unique product which is upgraded and enriched continuously. The CTO, added Ms. Dimitriadou will continue to support the Tourism Company of Nicosia and will continue to work closely with her to win the Nicosia share it deserves as a tourist destination.
The Festival will last for 5 days, from 10 to 14 September 2014, from 7 until 12 at night into the Consatnza ditch , beer production, import and distribution companies will participate. Visitors along with their beer will be able to enjoy a variety of dishes. The entrance fee is 5 euro with a free pint of beer.
The Festival will include a musical and artistic program, since visitors will be able to enjoy songs from different groups.
